Day 3

Yesterday I asked you to define or create the God of your Being as a healing force in your life. Do you realize that once you did that, this wonderfully powerful Divine Energy immediately began to work for you?

It is working in accord with your dominant thoughts. Now this could be good news or bad news for your body depending on what you are focusing on. Are you constantly thinking about pain? Then even though you have set an intention for health, you are telling Divine Mind you want more pain.

I can hear you thinking “But Angelica – when I’m in pain, that’s all I can think about !” Yes, I know - I’ve been there! I also know that our minds can only focus on one thing at a time … so we have to distract it to get past the habit of focusing on what we don’t want.

How do you do that? I will share a few methods over the next couple of days. Today I want to share the most important one. Ask Great Wholeness to help!

My teacher, the late Rev. Helen Street, decided she wanted to stop smoking … all she could think about were cigarettes. So she came up with a simple affirmation: “Divine Mind now assists me in attaining the consciousness of being a non-smoker.” After about a week, she called me to say she had no cigarettes in her home. Not being a smoker, I said “SO?” And she said “It’s working! Diving Mind is assisting me in having the consciousness of a non-smoker!! A smoker always has an extra pack at home!!”

Our mind is part of that Divine Mind! It is here to serve us. And it’s up to us to notice and focus on when It does!!

Affirm today: Divine Mind now assists me in attaining the consciousness of _____________________

(You put in what you’re intending – ie: perfect health, being pain-free, being a non-smoker, having a slim and trim body, etc.).

Now – pay attention! The Universe will serve you well!!
